Dentaid – Local charity service available
As a school, we believe that good health is essential for successful learning, and that includes excellent oral health. Regular dental care can sometimes be a challenge for families and it can be a struggle to find an NHS dentist taking on patients. We want to ensure every student has access to the care they need to thrive.
With this in mind, we are pleased to share information about Dentaid; a valuable resource in our local community.
Dentaid offers free oral health care to individuals under the following criteria:
For anyone 18 and under:
- Must be a resident within Hampshire and IOW
- Must not have been seen by a dentist for a routine appointment within the last 2 years
- Must not be registered with a practice
Patient over the age of 18 that are no longer in full time education do need to meet the following criteria:
- Must be a resident within Hampshire and IOW
- Must not have been seen by a dentist for a routine appointment within the last 2 years
- Must not be registered with a practice
- Are in receipt of a qualifying exemption from NHS dental charges
