This historic performance marks a major milestone for our school community. In a powerful show of unity, students from every year group will take the stage to perform a diverse range of rock and pop covers. This event serves as a grand finale and a special send-off for our Year 11 students, who will be debuting a full year’s worth of rehearsal. Join us in celebrating this “Jubilee First” and honouring the hard work of our departing seniors!
This milestone has ignited a passion for performing across our community. We are delighted to report a significant increase in students enrolling in music lessons and beginning their journey as guitarists and vocalists. By providing a professional platform like the Wedgewood Rooms, we aim to inspire every student to find their stage. The addition of our new subject specialists’ assistants Zakary Fraser Jones and Leah Lloyd has opened up additional avenues to access music covering new subjects and developing vocal studies for our students at Jubilee School with year 10-11 working towards their graded musical exams.
Parallel to our creative successes, Primary students are diligently developing their digital skills. Our curriculum is specifically designed to prepare them for life beyond Jubilee School, fostering the independence and literacy required for the modern world. By mastering these essential tools, our students are building the confidence to navigate their future careers and daily lives with ease. Students are learning how to use the internet to locate local services, how to navigate websites safely, and how to manage and store information using various software. We aim to equip students with these skills to allow them to become better citizens with an increased level of functional digital literacy.
Students in year 9-11 are continuing to develop a portfolio of work to obtain their level 1 in Vocational Studies. This covers a range of creative works and teaches students to build and create a CV, a digital tutorial and various skills within ICT.
