Home News & Events World Book Day at Jubilee – Multiple Crimes Have Been Solved!
This year’s theme for World Book Day was “mystery”. Jubilee school had their very own mysteries to solve. KS2 had the matter of finding where’s Wally? Clues where short on the ground, but the students worked very hard, leaving no stone unturned, searching high and low and following many unconfirmed sightings. Wally was finally found hiding under the climbing frame – First case solved!
Following the disappearance of Wally, our very own Head Teacher, Jo, was distraught to find her cheese had been stolen. After intensive interviewing of Jo, to see if she had in fact just eaten it (she does like cheese an awful lot), 6 suspects were drawn up leaving the students having to crack the case. They had several rooms to explore with clues and activities, leading to many clues but not an answer. It was discovered by putting all these clues together some students were successfully able to discover the thief was in fact our SENCo – Charlotte!
Second case solved! And all by lunchtime. During the afternoon the students, and I’m pleased to confirm the staff as well, were served freshly made jam and scones to each classroom whilst the students were able to undertake literacy tasks and activities.
A huge thanks must be given to Sam (Head of English), Rosie (food tech) and multiple of other staff who gave a huge amount of their time and effort to make the day such a success.
