Holi Festival Comes to Jubilee – April 2024

Holi festival is a popular and significant Hindu festival celebrated as the Festival of Colours, Love, and Spring. As a way of recognising this Jubilee had a number of music and dance workshops throughout the day, cumulating with a whole school dance celebration and the use of powdered paints – the highlight for many of the Holi Festival.  Throughout the workshops, students were encouraged to ask questions whilst learning more about the culture and reasons for such disciplines like meditation.  This was then followed by sharing multi-coloured powdered paints with each other where the enjoyment levels were very high.
