Wedgewood Rooms Concert

Students of Jubilee School took part in the first live concert in the history of Outcomes First. Playing at the Wedgewood Rooms, the students have now shared a stage with other music industry giants such as Oasis and The Smiths. Students performed to over 100 paying audience members and provided them with a stellar performance for 4 hours, raising money for The Teenage Cancer Trust.

Most of these students started off their musical journeys with no prior skills or technical abilities in the creative arts. Now, they are inspiring students across all age groups throughout the school. It’s amazing to see students who have had their fair share of challenges in the education system taking their first steps into their musical careers, their personal challenges are pushed to the backseat.

These musical experiences, big and small, have provided our students with the confidence to step into areas that previously held uncertainty. We are lucky to have staff with a range of musical abilities and a wealth of knowledge that have helped the students be all that they could be. Some of our students have also achieved distinctions in their music exams and are well on their way to becoming qualified musicians.
